Confirmation Class of 2012
Confirmation is the process through which young women and men who are in 7th through 12th grade are initiated as full members of the United Methodist Church. For the past three and a half months, fourteen youth from Blue Grass Church have been going through this process with guidance and support from their parents and mentors. Together they’ve learned more of what it means to be a Christian, a member of the global Church, and an active and faithful part of the congregation of Blue Grass Church. They have professed faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and have expressed a desire to live lives that honor and glorify him as part of his Body.
These are the 2012 Confirmands who will be welcomed as members of Blue Grass Church on Sunday, May 6 and Sunday, May 13:
